MySQL 4.0からアップグレードするならMySQL 5.0でいったん止まっておく

4.1はどうなんだろう。
もともと何故か、「4.0から上げるならまずは5.0まで上げて、あとはまあラクチン」とか記憶にあったんですが

そそのかされるがままに5.5, 5.1を試したらレプリケーションがぶら下がらなかった。
